Koken Multipurpose Injection Training Arm Type II

Multipurpose Injection Training Arm Type II enables trainees to exercise three types of injection techniques: intravenous (IV), intramuscular (IM), and subcutaneous (SC) injections.
Each puncture site can also be attached to the trainees’ arms, which enables trainees to develop communication skills with patients during the exercise.

• As special silicone rubber is used for the skin, it has a similar appearance, texture, and puncture sensation to that of a living body and gives the exercise a realistic feel.
• Cephalic and median veins can be identified owing to their high visibility.
• The acromion can be palpated, and the technique to determine the puncture site for IM/SC injection can be exercised.
• By using a different material for the SC injection site than the others, the realistic feel of pinching subcutaneous tissue can be reproduced.
• The bag-like skin prevents leakage of simulated blood and medical liquid and is easy to handle.
• Preparation/cleanup time and storage space can be reduced as there is no need to prepare multiple models.
• It enables trainees to exercise each technique with the realistic arm positions.
• Easy to prepare and clean up. It has a structure that makes wet parts easily dry.
• For an IV injection, trainees can exercise blood sampling using vacuum blood collection tubes, straight needles, and drip infusion using indwelling needles and butterfly needles.
• The IV Injection Site has a structure that prevents erroneous puncture in order to allow trainees to exercise safely.
• The Simulated Blood (Low Concentration Type) is lightly pigmented and is low in viscosity, so it can be easily washed off.
